CPCneutek began as Colorado Printing Company in 1947. Originally a “letterpress shop” like all printers of that era, the company served clients in Grand Junction and across the western slope of Colorado. We got our start with providing business forms, letterhead, envelopes, business cards, and marketing collateral. It quickly became clear that the method of printing was not the key factor in success. Instead, building strong relationships with clients based on respect, integrity, and delivering a high-quality product was essential.
As the printing industry evolved, so did we. In the 1960s, offset printing emerged, and by the 1990s, innovative technologies like direct-to-plate printing and digitization, as well as the efficiency of internet communications, the company was able to expand its reach. They could now offer high-quality four-color printing across time zones, reaching the entire western United States.
The new century brought even more change. Digital printing, variable data printing, direct mail, and integrated marketing programs, including email marketing and personalized URLs (PURLs), all become part of the solutions offered by the company. By 2009, it was clear that a name change was necessary to reflect the expanded services and growing client base. We rebranded and CPC Solutions was born, representing the full range of solutions the company now offers across multiple states.
As print continued to evolve, CPC Solutions looked for ways to grow. In 2010, Crested Butte Printing joined the company, expanding its capabilities to service their clients across the Rocky Mountains.
Folding carton packaging emerged as a key growth market and a way to remain relevant in the ever-evolving print industry. In 2012, CPC Solutions introduced our folding carton capabilities, opening new markets and client opportunities. Turnkey packaging solutions including structural design, printing, foil, embossing, die cutting, and folding/gluing enabled the company to quickly become one of Colorado's leading folding carton providers, competing on a national scale.
In January 2017, a new chapter began with the partnership between CPC Solutions and Neutek Print in Ogden, Utah. This new merger resulted in rebranding to CPCneutek and expanded the company’s capabilities, adding wide format and Flexo label printing. With shared values and a similar work culture, the two plants are a perfect fit. The Utah location helped grow our client base and helped to facilitate the acquisition of Ellis Printing in the fall of 2022.
August 2023 brought our latest milestone as Starline Printing in Albuquerque, New Mexico joined the CPCneutek team. With a formidable reputation and loyal client base, Starline brings decades of experience and unique digital printing and finishing capabilities.
Throughout its 78 years, CPCneutek has evolved from using lead type to adopting the latest in digital and offset print technology. However, one thing has remained constant: the company’s unwavering commitment to client relationships, grounded in respect, integrity, and the delivery of exceptional products.
